I'm thinking piranha because it's so terrible its funny, yet is still a horror movie. Other choices all suck but maybe they would be better options. Need opinions by 12:00 est (45 minutes)

Avatar is pretty sick in 3D if you havent seen it. I wouldnt see it again considering how long it is. The only other one I've seen is The Other Guys and that was pretty funny. I also heard Dinner for Shmucks was funny.
 
I'd actually not go with any of those, but as I don't know what else you got, maybe The Other Guys?

Avatar really isn't special at all if you're looking for more than silly CGI and a having to look at Sam Worthington act.
 
well its going to be hot as balls and we'd like to go see a movie to get out of the heat for a while. My friend is a girl too, a very cute one at that, so it's gotta be something good. You guys understand....

and i'm visiting today, not friday. Sorry.
 
Out of those, I would see The Other Guys...but I've seen some of them. If you haven't seen any of them I'd go to Avatar (it is overrated, but the special effects are amazing) or Dinner for Schmuks if you want a comedy, I thought it was pretty good. Had me laughing most of the time.
 
Is she the kind of girl who thinks Avatar is a really good movie because of its deep, profound, and original message? If so, then Avatar might be good.

How's her English? A lot of the times American comedies go over non-native speakers heads because of sayings and the way language is manipulated.

Piranhas could be good as long as she knows that it's so bad it's good.
 
I would go to the expendables. An almost non-existant story line, minimal dialogue, one deep and profound moment from mickey rourke and the rest is non-stop kick ass action. Anyone who goes to this movie expecting character development and twists is an idiot. It was supposed to be nothing but action and it delivered.
