Ok i know that a majority of newschoolers smoke the devils lettuce quite frequintly. I was just curious as to how many of you that smoke are college educated or currently in college and doing sucessful?

GO!

You sir, are way too high.

And I smoke and go to college. And ski competitively.

Although, I've noticed that I've been so busy that I cut back on smoking a bunch. You won't notice it but you'll slowly stop smoking once your schedule starts filling up.

Or at least thats how it went for me.

smoke all the time, studying math and graduating in december, and work at a hospital. It is possible to do, just don't over do it.

i dropped out of college. then i started smoking and went back and became an A student.

what are the odds?!

Very right on brother! im in math 050 right now and thats the highest my degree requires but i got mad respect for anybody who majors in math.

I smoked all through college, at the time i thought it didnt affect me much. But now looking back, I bet i would have been alot more motivated to go to class and get great grades if i wasnt baked all the time. I still passed all my classes easy enough, but just kinda flew on through instead of learning much.

I smoke and drink a lot... like smoking joints/blunts 4-8 times a day, drinking every day. Getting drunk 2-4 times a week and I was acheiving a 3.6 average. Not all people can be a champion like that, but I can so I do.

arent you now living with your parents and going back to college when youre 23?

that being said, i smoked a lot of pot to try and compensate for some pretty serious depression and ended up needing to take the next semester off. now im here again in the middle of june, and it kind of sucks. if there was anybody around who was selling id totally go for it, but there isnt.

3.5 last semester and gonna get an A in my summer class...I blaze a decent amount. I'm a 2nd year finance major if that matters.

i cut back, but then i got a job, and now i have too much money for my own good. and im not gonna save it up. so yeah i smoke more. but im not bragging. im done with whole persona of obnoxiousness (unless its a shitty thread.)

i smoke prob every other week with friends during the school year, usually spend too much on pizza, kind of a cash drain even as a occasional user

but now i'm taking organic chemistry and am paranoid about weed affecting my grade so off it for a while

its funny how you think you must be college educated to be successful. I never went to college and smoke about an 8er a week. I also make nearly $50,000 a year doing direct sales as a Kirby dealer. Not to mention im 19.....

I am 20 took a year off after my freshman year, and going back to a new uni this fall

didn't you fail out after your freshman year because you were so whipped on some girl?

I didnt say you have to be college educated to become sucessful because i know that is all but true. I was just asking who smokes and who is sucessful in college, aka not failing out of classses.

I was really just trying to determine how marijuana effects your grades.

But thats dope your making nearly 50,000 a year. I would be happy to make half of that and i am the same age you, but then again im going to college and only work 32 hours a week.

Smoking weed has nothing to do with your work ethic/success. Those things have to do with your family, core values, and how much you really want it. The 12 year old who tries pot for the first time because his mom and dad are white trash and in and out of jail probably wont be successful and that's what the stereotypical stoner is. Yet the valedictorian at my school smokes weed everyday and is going to Stanford with a 4.0 GPA. His parent's weren't the white trash negligent parent, they were upper middle class doctors who wanted their kid to be successful and told him to strive to be successful. Marijuana may have been something he did to have fun/escape his studies, but he's at one of the best colleges in the world with perfect grades.

but for the record I smoke weed basically daily and I'm going into my junior year at CU, it's possible if you manage your time wisely

Well to each his own, but if I didn't smoke weed plus a few extra curriculars... I would have never lived out of a VW bus with friends and gained the life experiences I have. Everyone is dif though.

Oh I see I just read the thread differently. College just wasnt the chance I wanted to take. Shitty gpa, broke ass parents. Next thing you know I'm making more money than most kids who are getting out of college wit a bachelors degree.

Go for it, I smoke on a regular basis but do your self a favor and keep it moderated, it's not worth sacrificing studies or girls over.

Blazed all four years, often on the way to class. If you can make it work for you it's not hard. For me adding drinking to the equation made for more hurdles than smokin so I barely drank. Both in excess can be trouble I would imagine.

going to be a senior in college....smoked a decent amount my highschool/freshman/sophmore career. Quit junior and senior year. Don't miss it at all. For me weed didn't really do it for me, more enjoyed the process. I find that as you get older later into college, with internships, jobs, etc, lots of people stop smoking because of drug tests and for proffesional reasons. That to say there isn't people who do smoke weed, but i find a lot of people quit late into college

smoked everyday for all four years and graduated with a 3.5gpa, now I have a job making pretty good money
