yeah they're necessary, but they just cause so much damn arguing and there's so much corruption and lying and dumb competition. Some people might say im retarded, but im tired of it and if everyone actually had decent moral values, then all of this shit wouldnt have to happen. There's so much damn confusion that it's hard to keep track of everything anymore. I can't stand it.

Actually, politics can be good, too. Without political representation, there would be a lot of horrible shit going on in the world. It just depends on your perspective. Sure, all the divisiveness sucks, but you'll feel much better about the world if you look at politics in a positive light (I know, I know... nearly impossible). But around here we have some candidates running for office that seem honestly interested in making the world a better place.

I do care, because politics affect me. Government has a major impact on our quality of life. They have everything to do with us.

Jazzskelington, ''you're not going to change anything.'' You're right, with that perspective you will not change anything. Each American is equipped with very powerful instruments. The power of voice and freedom of speech. Any of us have the power to bring about change in all things.. from things as small as town policies down to the way our country is won. Each of us has that power, but unfortunately very few actually use it.

One person can change the world. But, if you expect on taking on the world then you better equip yourself with arsenal to fight it. First off you are going to NEED to understand some politics.

Amen. The attitude of young americans tends to suck. Again, this doesnt include everyone, but especially in this demographic, the attitude is way to negative. I think that politics rock. Its all about voicing what you believe.

i want to go into politics because i hate how much lying and corruption their is. i want the people to have someone they can trust and will do what they actually promise they'll do.
