I've been seeing a lot of political posts recently, and I wanted to remind everyone that we have a political cult to talk about these issues. Plus, it helps keep NSG less cluttered, and with the upcoming election it will be a nice place to debate.

I don't know. It just doesn't seem as sporting as it used to be. It's like being a hog hunter in the middle of a pig farm.
 
I find it strange that most people see that as a bad thing (although 12 is getting pretty excesive). When there's 2 candidates what are the odds either of them is going to see things anywhere near the way you see them? Then again with the american system it's winner take all so maybee 2 candidates is better for that
 
There's two main parties, the winner of the election will undeniably be from one of the two, so even choosing your candidate now won't matter in the end if that person is not the nominee for that party.

There's so many people that aren't even going to be relevant in 8 months...
