Polish President killed in plane crash

I've always wondered what they would do if this happened. Of all the places they fly you'd think eventually there would be a crash.
 
Seriously, what a devastating and tragic blow to Poland, Europe and the World. Could you Imagine if Obama, Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, Harry Reid, General Patreaus, Timothy Ghietner, Rahm Emanuel, Ben Bernake plus many more all passed away at the same time? This is a tragic accident.
 
A lot of conspiracy theories are already brewing...ugh.

The pilot circled 3 times around the airfield and hit a radio mast while coming in too low on the 4th try, seeing as the wing was found far away from the crash site. Horrible tragedy for Poland.

Except they weren't on an aeroflot plane, it was a polish government plane. And aeroflots record is so bad because soviet era regulations weren't quite what they are now, and every plane in russia was considered to be part of aeroflot. Imagine if every plane in the us was part of 1 airline. The crash records would be ridiculous.

But back to the topic....this is why you don't put your government/military leaders all on 1 plane. In the US people like the president and vice president are rarely ever together so that nothing can happen to both of them. Thats what makes the state of the union dangerous. The whole us govt in 1 room.
 
I myself am a conservative, but I can hardly see that as being good for America. Biden, or if the VP was on the plane Pelosi would be president, and appointing a new cabinet, the work and will of those who passed would turn into an endless debate, and government would cease to function for several days or weeks (insert gov. efficiency joke here) until we filled the positions. No matter who is in charge, losing that many high ranking officials as well as their knowledge would be devastating.
 
Yep, well I'm from Poland and right now it's a pretty bad situation here. President, most of important generals, goverment stuff(all important politics) died. "Funny" thing is that those guys flew there for 70th anniversery in Russia, where 20,000 people from Poland were murdered during world war II. Also they crash probably at same airport, where the first assassination(Failed) of Hitler has happened. Kind of short Poland history lesson.
 
my dad does buisiness with the chief of staff as well with a couple of other guys as well, they were supposed to meet up next week for a meeting
 
It wasn't like russians did any kind of assassination. Pilot got too low, doesn't have enough speed and there was a serious fog thing and he crash into forest, Sounds lame, but condtion were really bad.
 
im polish. born in poland. lived there for years. its sad to see this happen. my parents especially are suffering and my family in poland. one of the generals who died there, used to be my dads general when he was in the army. its heartbreaking but you cant do anything about it but just pray for those lost and their families.
RIP. and people please no jokes. theyre not really funny at this time

Could you imagine if the 4bi9 crew, traveling circus crew, chug life crew, sage/backcountry.com crew, and basically every pro skier just died? What would happen to the scene!?
 
at least within the govt they have measures to assure that people come and take their places.

I can't imagine being that guy who got the call "uhhh hey, everyone died. you're in charge now."
 
I don't want to be that guy who corrects people when they use the wrong form of "your", but this is one of my biggest pet peeves... The phrase is couldn't give a shit.

I have no input about poland.
 
being a100% polish and all its really a tragedy, my whole family has been folllowing this story today n now the parents are watching polvison, RIP to all who died and the families of those who passes
