That quote is from your article, and it was weird they didn't actually link the study they were talking about which was the consequences of purely layoffs. Minneapolis had 100 cops quit and then defunded as a knee jerk reaction to social pressure. They didn't have a plan, and that was always going to go poorly.

Property crime has also gone down in the past year does that mean its proof defunding reduces crime?

Agree that it was very likely an accident. However she had 26 yrs on the force if I remember correctly and was training another cop herself during the incident/murder so probably not poorly trained in terms of what is currently taught. Definitely disagree on the race bit though. While it is impossible to be certain seems like if it was a white person acting the same way the whole interaction likely would have gone differently, including when she became so terrified by a black dude resisting arrest (not even fighting back, just trying to get away) that she could mistake her gun for her taser.

Don't know y I keep replying to you but those rn't real sources. As someone who lives in mpls I can tell you funding for the police has only increased since george floyd murder. Also defund the police is a very broad term created largely by the media to rile folks like u up. Realistically almost no one is calling for what you think every "snowflake" wants (zero police, no replacement). 99% of ppl who think this is an issue just think policing should b done from somewhat to radically differently (ie better trained/paid cops, less of them armed, less unnecessary military grade equipment and militarized style policing) which if allowed to happen would likely require at least the same amount of funding if not more.

I know how many more white ppl there are. But why have I not heard of a single one dying on the news ?

Let’s also add to the fact that when we look at crime it’s oddly in favor of people with less opportunity. In many cases this is unfortunately people who are not white. I agree with that. But is that the cops faults for doing their job when arresting criminals ? Or attempting to arrest criminals who seem to think it’s ok to run.

you can refute all you want the prison population demographic. But do you think that just maybe it might be because people who have less opportunity are unfortunately minorities. Who unfortunately have no other means except to resort to crime. That is NOT THE FAULT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. Maybe it’s your own fault for not doing enough to be proactive about it.

I also find it funny when many many minorities are silenced by the media when they come and call out narrative that’s broadcasted on mainstream media. Why are people like Candace Owens or Clarence thomas never allowed to present their side on CNN?

seems like a fear moffering tactic presented solely by white people who own CNN. But don’t worry. They won’t show you that side of the story on their network.
