So last night I get this thing letter in the mail that says I passed a bus while all of its equipment and stuff was out. Which is bull cause I was no where near the area at the time and now I probably have to go to court and pay a 363 dollar fine plus my insurance is gonna go way up.
 
ah shit, I didnt know you meant while the red lights were flashing... I thought you meant the bus was broken down or something... makes sense.
 
Yeah she somehow got my liscense plate number and the color of my car eventhough I never passed a bus at anytime its so ridiculous
 
thats blows, our cops have absolulty nonthing to do, buddy of mine threw a piece of trash out his window and a cop picked it up like 2 days later read it saw his name on it, looked him up, then went to his house and made him throw it away and told him not to do it agian

out cops have way to much time on there hands
 
Have you considered that since the bus driver got your vehicle description and licence plate maybe, just maaayyyybeeee you did do it? I know this is far less likely than a police conspiracy against you, but I'd at least think about it a little.
 
Where were you at the time? Do you have any witnesses who can place you there and not near this bus. If you were no where near the location when it happened, and can prove it, you should have a case. It will be tough if the bus driver ID'd your car and license plate though. If you were no where near him that would be hard to do. Was anyone else with you in the car? Any witnesses you have that back up your side of the story will help.
 
if you didnt do it then go fight it. but im guesssing if you went by a bus while letting little kids off and you didnt stop then you most likly didnt even notice it at all.
 
Thats funny. One time the cops came over to my house because my neighbor and I had an argument about Monopoly. They asked if there was any domestic violence going on. Of course i had no idea what he was talking about at the time, because I was high. I was thankful that they didnt notice the five roadm signs on the wall, the beer cans on the ground, and the smell of weed in the air. Im glad thats over.
 
maybe the bus driver saw ur car somewhere else, wrote it down, was feeling evil(or juss wanted money) and juss told the police crazy crap bout u goin thru.... could be possible.
 
so it's suddenly whack that someone gets in trouble for littering? That's bullshit that your friend thinks he should be able to get away with littering, he's lucky he didn't get fined.
 
Passing a school bus with lights/signs activated is one of the few charges where the driver doesn't have to be id'd...the registered owner of the vehicle could get the ticket even if they weren't the one driving. If you are in Ontario...perhaps someone else was driving your vehicle????? Take it to court, and good chance the JP can change the wording of the ticket, drop the fine, or even toss the ticket all together.
 
hahaha this reminds me one day we were behind this bus and the light was green and he wasnt moving... so me and my buddy got out of the car and i dont know why but we thought itd be funny to start chucking snowballs at it... (dumb kids) the bus driver came running out and we were like SHIT and he walks behind the car and gets the license plate number and im like HEY WTF and he is like, ill see you in court... we laughed in his face and threw some more snowballs then left... nothing ever happened...
