some dude broke my poles and i need new ones. i was going to get some chap ones but was just wondering if anyones had experience using adjustable ones? Just so that i can make them short for park and long for normal skiing etc.

and i know poles are poles

Adj poles are great for hiking and touring, but i would be hesitant to use them in the park. The joint where it adjusts becomes a hinge point, fall wrong and they will pretty easily snap. Then youre out 60 plus bucks. Just grab some rentals and be good to go

I've been rocking the Line Dart poles for a few seasons now. The strap is great, and they're super durable. I used to ride with adjustable carbon fiber poles until I snapped like 3 pairs, and them sh*ts ain't cheap.

Pay 5 bucks for a set of rental poles. Just be sure to get the adult size and cut em down to your short size if you're using short poles
