does anyone know whether there are any poles that dont break like hips in a nursing home? im getting tired of buying ones

 
poles are skinny has hell i dont see why graphics would matter that much.

every year break my poles atleast once..but last year i bought 30 dollor scott poles and they got bent to hell but i'm still using them and they are killer i'm gunna see how long i can use them for. scott for life

rentals. they last the longest and who cares if they are like 1 gram heavier. plus they are cheap as or even free.

Get some graphite ones. They bend like crazy but they don't stay bent or break. They look cool when you lean on them too cause they look really warped but once you take the weight off they go back to being as straight as a fox.

get a carbon composite pole (not the pure carbon pole, those are the super expensive ones)

carbon composite pole is carbon & fiberglass. they bend like crazy and will last forever. around 45 canadian

Ill tell ya whoever said graphite knows their shit i love my graphites i have used the same poles for almost 4 years cant even tell just re paint them if u need to!! Cant break em lite as hell

i snaped two poles going off sumthing stupid over here and eating shit, then i bought some hire poles under the counter for 5 bucks - they are heavy and unsightly but i made em look sick by spraying them and u dont really notice the weight - but they are so solid theres no way they are breaking

 
i just picked up some Rossignol B3 poles, theyre good solid poles.

NO NO NO..u guys are all wrong..the best way to go is say you forgot your poles to the rental area at your resort...Say you will return the poles, but you just need to borrow them for a day...Then take em and don't return them. Rental poles are the most durrable poles out there!!

if you ski at sugarbush or jay look for the kid with a normal pole and 3/4 of another with ducktape on the end,

theres no way im paying for poles ever so ill have to wait till the lost and found accumulates.
