poles?

I don't think poles matter to much. Just get ones that are comfortable for your hands

my parents cus i need to be safe of course. got me some carbon fiber ones that extend, but you cn take the ends out and screw them togethor and you have like an 7 ft avalanch pole. i am afraid to use them unless i am skiing at alpetnal, cus i dont want to snap them.

yeah, I got mine for NZ$40, a nice volkl pair, I like them, they're aluminium and super light, I might have got them just a little too long but they're all good. I go through about 3 pairs a season so yeah, don't really care what they are. I usually go for the 10 dollar Rossignol ones in the bargain bin at 'Ski yer heart out'

if you want some sick poles get some GOODE poles. The whole line is sick. soo light and soo strong. They just sent me a couple pairs of the 3 phils model pole and thats sick. Its carbon and has decent graphics. They also make that shit in vylon.

What me and my bros up here do is just hit local ski swaps, and pick up really crappy poles for really cheap. That way when they bend you just bend them back, and when they do break you dont care.

Goode or googe, whatever they are, they are nice and light and not cheap like scott poles that brake easy!!

I picked up some smith Zbends... a little pricey ($100CDN) but I bent one 90deg. and straightened it out over my knee at the top of the hill cuz I was so mad. I'm badass. They're great, and I like the look of them.

Scott poles suck shit. they only cost like $10 but they bend hella easy. i've gone through 3 pairs. one pair per season. but they are so fucking cheap.

meh..

why don't they put a knife on a spork? doesn't that make sense to you?
