Poles

today at mountain creek i saw a kid with poles that were about 2 ft long... not only did he have these dumbass poles but he thought he was amazing as he went to hit a rail then just roll over the takeoff

I saw a kid at okemo 2 years ago hiking a box with 2 twigs... no joke 2 maybe foot long twigs i was flabbergasted

I just recently stole a pair from rentals and cut them down to a little bigger than 6.5 inches.

I have ones that go just above my knees and I love them! I have been injured due to poles and this prevents it and doesn't get in the way. Also lighter and looks cool imo.

lol i saw that kid today too, and honestly his poles were not 2 feet. they were probably like 16 inches, it was ridiculous. i at least expected him to be decent but then i watched him fall on that first little rail on the right. pretty funny

So now even just posting a joke in a thread is enough to be classed as trolling. The troll police are gonna be working overtime.

my poles are average height. a little shorter than most maybe.a lot of my friends dont use poles. and if they do they use "twigs." they say the only reason they use them is for balance. so theres no reason to have a huge pole that gets in the way.

HAHAHA xD yeah today, while I was working a my local snowpark i saw a kid. With snowblades and poles as high as motherfucking yao ming (not racist). Then when he went to hit that jump he spinned out of control i was crying laughing the way his face reacted hahahah it was like a '' OH SHIT" moment hahah

I love my short poles. I just bought some juniors at a thrift store for 2 bucks. Took off shit grips, put on bicycle grips. I get so much shit from gapers and lifties for my short poles but frankly don't knock them till you try them.

my arms are at 180 deg angle to stick them in the ground, but when pushing with force i have to bend or put my hands on top of the grips

You must be kidding me. I use short poles cause I hate poles, but I need them sometimes so having short poles is like not having poles at all but really you have some.

My poles are pretty shortbut there is some picture floating around on NS of some skier (might be LJ) with 1 foot long polescan someone please find it for me

my poles are just grips, baskets and the tip

lol jk mine are a decent length, but definitely short still

I have poles that are in-between super short and normal size... Get shit done while skiing, and still look steezy in the park. Oh, and functional in the liftline. Win? I think so

That completely defeats the purpose of using poles. Its 37in poles for me all day. Perfect size. Not too long but not too short.

44in here, but im 6'1-6'2, Plus skis and boots so they are pretty short, they are also made of chromed steel, they weigh so much that they cut off the circulation in my last two fingers. 8$ at used sports store, awesome
