lookin to buy new poles

just speaking overall look, what are the best lookin poles out there right now?
 
What makes your bamboo poles awesome? That they are heavy and will snap?

To the thread creator, people don't usually sell used poles. Just buy a pair from your local shop. Go carbon fiber if you want it to last, but those are expensive. Any aluminum pole will do.
 
i got lucky and found some armada poles at my ski shop, i like them a lot, really good grip, but ive never seen them in another shop, only on the internet. scott makes some good one though, try them
 
Carbon. Mine have lasted me 5 times longer than any metal pole, and counting. Plus you can paint them really easily.
 
pretty sure the part about them being bamboo was the awesome part. you have bamboo poles? mine are graphite/carbon. but bamboo would be cool just cuz
 
The fact that no one else has them and that you can't buy them anymore make them awesome. And they're actually very light and strong. Check into some things made out of bamboo you'd be surprised.
 
My carbon poles have lasted me 8 years without a problem so far. I used to break a pole every season or so, no more aluminum poles for me.
 
i actually broke one of my carbon poles and one of my friends broke his carbon joystick pole so i guess its just the luck of the draw
