dose it matter if buy a realy good pair or just a $10 pair i understand the difernace betwene the compsit one and alumon ones

I have no idea how much mine were, but I have some pretty short masters which were prolly cheap as dirt, but every other pole I ever touch seems heavier, and I can't imagine using anything else.

Theyre starting to bend though, wish I knew were to get the same ones

just go to a ski swap, or something similar and pick up some cheap composite poles. They wont break nearly as easily as aluminum, and are usually very light. Or if you're real cheap, cruise the ski racks at your locak hill after the lifts stop turning, and snag a pair of forgotten ones. if they're too long, you can always cut them down.

just keep taking them from ski mountains lost and found pers lose them all the time sometimes you will get nice ones sometimes you get but they free so who cares, and i got nice ones that ive used for about 1.5 seasons and they arent bent or anything and i fall on them all the time

Dynastar sent me pretty expensive carbon ones last year. I normally snap a pair every 20 days but this pair lasted over 100, skiing harder and falling harder than I ever have before. Plus they're light and easier to paint than metal. I'm converted.

what, really, idk i end up going through 2-3 sets a season, i moved to shorter poles for park and dont wear my wrist straps, but i still somehow fall and go to get up and i have 3 poles instead of 2

Pretty sure. Just heat them up with a heat gun, hair dryer or in boiling water then cut with a pipe cutter or hacksaw. Or take some beer to your ski shop and have them do it.

That machine just makes it quicker and easier. My shop just now doesn't have one and we just use a heat gun and pull them off - easier with 2 people/
