or can i be set with poles i find in the dump...

I'd say no. Find an older pair, and just use them.

well joysticks are only 40 bucks...and itd be nice for a light pole with nice grip as opposed to heavy annoying gripped poles i find in the dump

i roll on old poles painted up really nice like, becuase i have broke,bent,bashed,busted quite a few and after all there just poles.

i got joysticks last season cuz i broke so many rentals and i love em...and they arnt to expensive...
