I have had a pair of Smith Competition poles for 3 years now, and they have never bent ever. I used to bend poles all of the time, but these are dope. They come with a powder basket you can put on them for deep snow days too.

You should belive everything you read on the internet, it's all true.
 
i got really pissed at a rail and had to buy new poles....don't get rossignol poles they bend in half when you bash them against a rail

Racing bindings=better/stronger

Racing Wax=better/faster

Racing Poles=better/stronger

Swix makes dam good poles, better then that scott dispatch crap, at least swix poles will hold up.

i can not believe a thread about fucking poles would ever get this many relpies. dude poles r fuckin poles and if your pushin your skiin like you should a pair wont last 5mins!

I skied with skishop-poles the whole last season, but had to change quite a few times...

I you want to go for durability, stick to carbon! It bends at least 90 degrees without breaking and even swings back to normal form all by itself!

You can get some pretty cool semi-carbon/semi-alu poles from Leki...
