Poles for a skier

I love my Armada poles. They are strong so they don't really bend, lightweight, and they have quick snap interchangeable baskets and come with a pair of park baskets and a pair of pow baskets. They also have the sickest and most comfortable grips ever made for ski poles.
 
sorry but i disagree, as long as their the right length, not to heavy, has proper baskets and decent handles its good for me
 
i was gonna get some from my shop, but after seeing how easily they bent after ONE day of use from my buddy, ill get me some 6-speeds, or scotts.
 
Most poles are the same. Most Joysticks are the same as any pole. Composites are sick K2's and SWIX make good poles
 
i got some leki kids poles from backcountry.com for 8 bucks. kinda bendy feeling.. but 8 bucks. or 9 maybe.
 
some random atomic bargain bin poles for like 10 bucks. Just picked the ones with the nicest grips. Spray painted them black and white but may redo that this year with some neonness
 
scott makes some super nice poles... ive had 2 pairs over the past 3 years and only got the second pair cuz all the paint was gone off the first pair... super strong poles for me
 
i have had good experiences with scotts and K2s. armadas look dope but i dont know that much about them. and i currently have a pair of atomic metron poles that lave lasted me longer thatn any other pair... theyre dope
 
cuz it takes me 20 minutes and $0 to make a pair, plus no one else has a pair like them, unlike every other kid on the hill who has joysticks.

best pair of poles i ever had were these rental poles that you could bend all over the place and then they would go back to straight...
 
for park get a composite pole like the k2 silencer pole - i have it for two years now and i am really happy with it, really hard to destroy it
 
or dont spend that much money and ill ship you a pair of poles as long as you pay shipping that are pretty much the same thing
 
i just get poles from friends that dont want them, or the garbage for that matter, or any where i can get the shaft. i cut dont the shaft with a hacksaw first to waht length i want, then i sand them down to bare metal and mask them off with painters tape or pinstriping tape, then just go at them with spray paint to get whatever look i want. after that i put whatever type of grip on that suits my fancy, same with the baskets, and then whatever kind of straps, and WA-LA! a pair of custom poles. in case your wondering i have lots of spare parts laying around.....
