Poleplant spins

so today I watched some dumbass do poleplant 360's, and act cool about it. I'm not the best skier out there, but when I spin I know it's taboo to polevault. Does anyone else agree with this? I mean Are poleplants as stupid as I think they are?
 
I love ski balet actually, I don't do it, but I mean its pretty cool, just like syncronized swimming. I'm talking about off of jumps though.
 
so he just stuck his poles into the lip? meh, Jean Luc used to do it back in the day, just seems like an unnecessary step... you should be thinking about the trick you're going to do, or at least just about the pop...

meh, doesnt bother me any. the way other people ski shouldn't bother you either, are you PMSing?
 
did the kid have a jump? if not then whatever gets you to land on your feet, not your face.
 
dude It was a jump, and I was 3ing it no problem without my poles. I never use my poles, but when you are pushing off of your pole for the first 180 of it, it's not a 3.
 
so pretty much what your dumbass is saying is that you think candide is not a real skier and that he sucks because he pole plants off every jump.
 
yeah, who else does? watch a vido, and see who else pole plants, it's silly, it makes the sport look worse than snowboarding.

you obviously dont know whats up dick wrinkle. candide is one of the best skiers out there. i wanna see you cork 810 to rail, or even ski as good as he does period
 
If the kid has his own style. I mean, if doing haggard things is his deal and power to him, but if he's gorilla steeze to pole plant than he needs a snowballing.

someone prolly mentioned it, but FYI watch any of Candide's sections and you'll see that he pole plants on almost all of his spins. - and it looks sick as hell
 
If you can do it and make it look good, then it's fine, but that is jsut like everything else in skiing.
 
the coolest thing to do ever is go kinda fast then stop super quick, plant your poles to your side or downhill, then throw yourself over your skis like flip kinda, and spin, like a cooler tip roll.

There are some pros that do it off cliffs and i think it looks good. They dont try to just huck a big spin they do it slow they dont wrench their boddy round. Off jumps they look a bit stupid but each he their own. Nick
 
Guys, seriously, look at what just about all of you are doing, you're complaining about how other people ski. I don't get it. If someone is having fun, why mess with a good thing?

If it really bothers you that much, just let your skiing do the talking for you, and if it can't, then don't be talking shit on anyone, because you don't deserve to.

So everyone, shut the fuck up, why do you involve yourselves with other people's style? Hey, I can do it too! Hey Schiller, stop tweaking your grabs too much! It's gay, you're the only person tweaking it that much! Wilson! stop going so big! If the guy likes the pole plant, let it be.
 
Why do you guys care about the way other people ski so much? You either like it or not. Leave it at that.
 
let the kid do it how he wants to. maybe your style is gorilla steeze and his is to poleplant off the lip. big deal. he might think that your style is goofy but you don't see him going around and saying "man that d-bag with the baggy pants and coat looks like a tard." leave him alone. and just for the record candide is a mad pimp and he pole plants.
 
one of my friends pole-plants before he slides a rail or box. we like to give him shit about it, but it's just a habit i guess. to each his own. do your own thing, and don't care how other's do it.
 
I'm gonna do switch poleplants when I spin... as soon as I get my arm out of this fucking cast.

Just kidding, on a serious note though, I pole plant when I nose butter. It just seems logical my arm is already going in that direction anyways. Meh I don't know I've never thought about it maybe everyone does.
 
i dont really care but my dad dislocated his shoulder by getting his pole stuck in some ice so i dont know
