Pole lengths??

just wonderin what a good length s in freeskiin..i mean i know the lengths your supposed to ride..i got a 48..and im 5'9 But i dont think that longer is bettr for tricks and riding..i mean like mine kinda hit ground and pisses me off..lol..should I get shorter?? or could i get them cut shorter..? let me know...maybe thinkin of like a 46..but let meknow some info..peace

i'm 5'9" and i ride with 44" or 42" poles. ive seen some people with like 35" but thats crazy for me

two years back at camp... andy mahre's poles were about as tall as his knees. Guess thats how no pole skieres rock it when they use poles

run the end of your poles in some hot water in the bathtub or something. that'll loosen the grips up.

also, use pipe cutters. it cuts perfectly straight. just go to a plumber to ask him to lend you his cutter for 30 sec. its the best

mine are 34, and im 5'7" they arent too short..just below my hips its perfect

I'm 5,10 and the perfect length is 46cm. you flip the poles over and put you hand under the basket and if your arm is 45 degree angle it is perfect
