Polar VS Grizzly

Ok so I was reading some article yesterday about polar bears and grizzly bears who would win?

a grizzly has one slap to the face dead and a polar has a bite to the face dead.

well if it was all out war, like 100 polar bears vs 100 grizzlies then I think polar bears would take the win. but it depends on where the fight takes place. cus if there's water then the polar bears can swim a million times better but if it's trees then grizzlies can climb way better. but I'm pretty sure in brute force polar bears are stronger and they are more intelligent/clever. it'd be close, but I would give it to a polar bear
 
polar bear grew up in a harsher environment. grizzly just another furry woodland creature.
 
no, but it could take place in a forest. in which case the grizzlies have the upper hand cus they can climb way better and use the environment to win. if its on ice/snow/where there's water the polar bears would have the advantage
 
i don't think those are really advantages in the fight only as a means to escape if they're getting there ass kicked.
 
well polar bears seem to be better but still a grizzly has very sharp long claws and would only need one swipe to kill a polar bear so i think they could do that faster then get close to a grizzly and bite it.
 
but I'm talking in a big ass fight, like 100s on 100s. then fighting in your own environment gives you the upper advantage for sure
 
they most certainly can. I've seen one in a tree, they're not very good climbers especialyl compared to black bears but hey can definitely climb trees
 
Black bears are MUCH better climbers. You've got it backwards. All grizzly cubs can climb trees, but not most adults, although a minority can.
 
that's what I said, black bears are better climbers by far. and all grizzly adults can if they need to, they just dont cus they rarely have the need. but they also need a suitable tree with their weight and such. but glizzlies can for sure climb
 
Wolverines will chase grown male Grizzly bears up trees.

Also, Polar bears are just straight bigger than the Grizzly bear aren't they? A more entertaining fight would be between Polar bears and Kodiak bears since they are more closely related.
 
When I say Polar bears and Kodiak bears are more closely related I mean they are closer in terms of size.
 
Wow, I"m sorry man. I thought you said they were better than black bears. Regardless I'm pretty drunk right now and dont even know why I'm talking aobut bears. Sorry your right

It's really no contest. The polar bear wins due to superior style and highly blunted aerial maneuvers.
 
Chewbacca via ripping limbs out of their sockets.

Sad note, did you know in the novels that take place after the movies Chewbacca actually dies to save one of Han's kids? I cried when I read that.
