in jr high, i was a poker hustler. i would pretend like i didnt know what i was doing, then take everyones money. all they guys thought it was funny, so they told their friends that i sucked but bet big. and so they would all play me and id kick their asses.

I'm all about poker man it's sweet, especially no limit texas holdem' that shit is crazy!!! I always watch it on tv and they have these crazy tournaments where the winner gets 2+ million dollars, when they get down to the last two players they bring out the cash prize and put it on the table, how hte hell do they concentrate with that much money right in front of them, it's insane!

ya i play poker pretty much everyday now, either at a friends house or online against my friends for money. How do you guys get away with playing poker at school. I played for a while at school with a max of 3-4 people. And even then we had to be really careful about not getting caught. A tourney at school would be awesome

Online poker sucks. It is cool to play with your friends though. 10 Dollar buy in and some big cigars, nothing better.

Playing poker in person is obviously better....but online poker definetly doesn't suck - ridiculously easy to win money.

yeah, party poker is sweet, until you cash out. As soon as you cash out you will begin to lose all your money. It happened to me and my cousin. YOu get these awesome hands that no one should be able to beat, and somehow someone else gets 4 of a kind or something.

When I play online poker...I prefer 'sit and go' (single table) tournaments to cash games. With a cash game at a big table, you need a sick hand to win most pots....but at single table tournaments, top 3 pay out, and if you play tight until a few people have been knocked out, its easy to finish in the money almost every time.
