we play like 3 or 4 times a week at my buddys house, and its funny sometimes some randos come over wearing sunglasses thinking there moneymaker, 10 min later they have to take out there wallet.

Moneymaker is terrible...he was knocked out in around an hour at this years world series. Last year was a fluke...you can't call hands like he called and win everytime.

Most of the big name guys have been knocked outta this years world series....Gus ferguson is out which suprised me. Harrington is still in.

im in a tournament in two weeks that a kid up the street for me is putting on. $20 dollar buy in and a $5 dollar cover charge cause hes going all out and getting caterers and stuff...should be fun.

I am a real tight player and play down in deadwood almost every weekend against a bunch of drunk idiots that play anything. Usually walk away with 100 or more every weekend

 
We should get all the poker players on NS who are on partypoker or ultimate bet to set up a tournament. Start a table and get a bunch of us on it.

yeah i play poker once or twice a week with all my friends and im pretty sick, ive prolly won around $700 in the past half year

my school is under a poker crazy right now ....some kid walked away w/ 400 in a month....its technically not allowed but teachers don't really care casue we play all day ...in class...at lunch ...wenever

poker is the ONLY game I could ever beat anyone at. ive been playing forever and I ALWAYS WIN! lol, i told my bf that and he was like, 'whatever kelly, i could beat you any day.' so we put some money down and i kicked his ass. and became 30 dollars richer. haha

Haha, I love all the people claming to be nasty, taking 400 dollars!!!!!!!!! I have friends that have won thousands of dollars in the past semester or two and they don't brag. Poker is a game where you can never say someone will always win; it just doesn't work like that. The only good thing talking shit does is build your table reputation and imtimidate lesser opponents.

Poker was my summer job last year. I was very successful at it. THe players who think they're good are the easiest ones to bust up... especially the ones who brag about how much they win/week.

i play poker twice a week with the same kids and we have fun. the funniest thing happened last week. my friend was doen to like 1 dollar in chips, and he was looking at the chip leader and says, 'theres about to be a major migration of chips' and i dont know why but i laughed for like an hour
