Hey everyone, just wondering if you and your friends ever have poker tournaments. Me and my friends do almost every weekend. We play hold 'em with like a 10 dollar buy in, its mad fun

my school's obsessed with poker, i'm not that into it. we have huge tourneys with like 20 dollar buy ins.

during the summer i play poker almost everyday of the week. We usually don't play tourney;s though. We play big buy i games, like minimum 35 buyins. We all have gambling problems

yea you cant really call it a tourney if its afew of ur friends with only 10 buk buy in. We usually do like a 10 man 25 buk buy in. One time we had 6 guys $200 buy in and we played for like 7 hours kinda crazy got old fast. we ended up cashin out i was up 75 so pretty good night one kid got wiped clean that must suck

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. 'She hates guys,' Pete lamented, 'so it’s not going good.' Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.
 
this kid at my school has tournaments with about 60 people $30 entry. my best friend got second last one and won about 600

 
we have them almsot every night. Granted I only play about half the time, but I still manage to make money all the time. I paid for skiing this winter (food and gas every weekend) with poker winnings. Hoping to enter some larger tournies in the next year at some casinos in mass/ct.

i play about 3-4 nights a week 10 dollar buy ins at my friends house but tomorrow night, my friends dad rented out a local bnar for the night, big tourny 10 bucks to get in and 25 bucks to play should be SWEET

Funny you ask... I won 800 bucks (tied for first in a 25 dollar buy in) plus a free seat in a 10,000 dollar pay out tourny at the end of the month at an indian casino down the road here in so cal last monday...Up against 176 people. I went back and played a free roll this morning, I just barley finished in the money(19th out of about 200) that put another 26 bucks in my pocket.

just finished playing with my friends... 10 buy in... i went into the final round absolutely loaded and blew it all. but its ok cause i didnt have money to begin with so for 2nd i just didnt have to pay.

Ive been doing pretty well lately (up a few hundred bucks) but my friend last week won 5600$ in a tournament and then last night another 1060$....ridiculous. Makes me want to step up and play higher stakes games but the thought of my bankroll being wiped out in 10 minutes keeps me from doin it.

My friends and I play quite a bit, pretty small betting, but you can walk away with a hundred bucks on an average night so it's not too bad.

I love to play round with my friends and occasionally make it to a casino to play but its only limit here in CA. where was that casino you played at Jibtech in socal?

and yeah the world series is one of the best things to watch on tv. cant wait till the main event starts in august. that and the world poker tour

Me and ym friends play all the time normally 10-20 dollar buy in with like 10 people. A couple weeks ago my friend had a tounry 60 people 35 dollar buy in it was awsome, i missed it though ahd to play in a tennis match which i ended up losing anyway.

Texas hold em is fun as hell to play, but hard when your half black friend gets 8 straights or flushes right in a row...earning him $80.

Whenever im on here, im on pacific poker playing hold em. I get up to bout 7000 bucks, then blow it all. Its all demo money tho, so its all good. Sometimes my friends and I have some intense matches of hold em. I always win like 2 bucks.
