Found my ghetto old gameboy today (first one ever made), started getting back into the old classic, its still got some fun in it, give it another try (because im pretty sure every person on this site was at one point playing it)
 
word. pokemon is the shit. are you talking about those huge grey ones that take 4 batteries. i got one and it still works. it lasted longer than my ipod haha
 
pokemon was and still is the shit.

i remember every day after school i'd watch pokemon. id flip out if my mom made me miss an episode.

the gameboy game is still amazing
 
i play it in my java class, inbetween helicopter game, going on NS, and wubly 2 haha, i alo have Zelda and Mario Kart ROMs, its great
 
dissing a classic is what gets you minus karma....... and i was playing pokemon yellow last week. stupid pikachu wont evlove into a raichu

haha beat me to it. you have to buy the pokemon guide its got everything. this one time in grade 2 my buddy tore a page out and i got super pissed at him so he got me a new guide but it was in spanish
 
nah dude, in pokemon yellow the pikachu you start with wont take the thunderstone you try to give it (i know i tried like last week haha)
 
you gotta trade pikachu with someone on red or blue then use a thunderstone on him to turn into raichu then send him back to yellow
 
your touch or phone has to be jailbroken if it is then install gpsphone (which is a gameboy advance emulator) from cydia and then download any gba game rom that you want (my fav is pokemon) and ssh it into your ipod. go on youtube to find videos on how to do all that if u dont understand it
 
I had a level 100 Alakhazam, it was so beast. You have no idea how long it took me to get the stupid fucking Abra to evolve, it can't even do anything. I switched it from yellow to gold, then somehow deleted it. My pokemon games stopped working though
 
i really did struggle with this decision... but i had to.

I have the Game Boy advance emulator, and have been playing LeafGreen for a little while now. All the good pokemon (1-251) + the newer abilities and stats. Good fun.
 
you do know there are upwards of i think about 450 pokemon now, so to say that the ones from fire red or leaf green are all the good pokemon, then id have to say youre just alittle off. the best pokemon based on the games however are the original 151 from red blue and yellow
 
hahaha good last post of the night for me, POKÉMON!! haha i remember i always thought ash misty were gonna hook up, donno about that gary guy though. shiit brings back the old times, way better than digemon hands down though
 
haha when i was packing i found my mondo gameboy and my purple gameboy color haha with pokemon yellow. great game but i was like 14 short of catching them all. gotta catchem all!
 
blue version for life! who else did the cheat where you go up and down the beach at cinnibar island and your 6th item gets multiplied to infinity (aka rare candy)!

I remember i had a dope cheat that i got a mew, but i couldn't tell you what to do if my life depended on it.
 
Well, fireRed and leafGreen start with only the original 151, then you can go to some different country or whatever and get the next 100. And IMO the first 251 are the good ones. 151 yea, all classic, but at least the next 100 they added on to silver, gold, cyrstal made some sence, and most were pretty cool. After that, the design team came up with some dumb ideas.
 
I remember in like 5th grade going to a pokemon battle at my mall lol. I got my ass kicked, but I did get an official mew (it came with a certificate and everything so i could legally battle with him lmao!)
 
haha, this reminds me of last year in school. there was like a bring back pokemon thing where everyone brought in their old game boys to school and played pokemon. people thought we were idiots, but i thought it was classic...
 
I remember I got a mew as well, completely forget how, maybe I used game shark.... or maybe I got him in a trade.
 
it only fucks up your game if you capture Missingo, when you kill him the 6th itme in your inventory is multiplied 50 times.
 
haha my friend still has a ton of his, we found them the other day and had some sick fucking battles
 
Diamond is fuckin sick, i got kinda bored of it tho cuz iv done almost everythin and i got like 10 lv 100s just so i could kill my friends little brother that cheats and buys them offline and uses actionreplay

but yeah, its a good way to waste some time or do during a boring class if you have the skills to do so
