i guess one could say that, but i judge them similary because i remember having the toys for both and watching them both on cartoon network throughout the same time period

the OG pokemon, not this new shit. the pokemon with the 151 different types. yui gi oh i can remember watching and i enjoyed it, but there was so many new cards and shit, andthe story got too complex. pokemon was simple and had solid pokemon and you would not be watching a show and be like who the fuck is that pokemon. like when they went for commercial break, they ahd the name that pokemon question. you could not do that with yui gi oh. so yeah pokemon all the way for me
 
i only play baqugon or whatever its called with the mental little balls that transform when you stick them to metal
 
I played the video game when i was in 5th grade because it was addicting as hell.

Then everyone went gay for pokemon, so it got super lame.
 
Pokemon on Gameboy was so sick, i had like all the original titles i think

but i loved watching yui-gi-oh on TV the battles were so epic
