I saw a thread a while back about an emulator to play different gameboy games but no one could find one that works. My friend found one that works perfectly and it's so fun.

1. Go to settings and then date and time. Switch the set automatically switch to off and change the date to 2012.

2. Go to coolrom.com on iphone and hit the little phone icon in the top right.

3. Then choose your device and download the gameboy advance option.

4. Once downloaded, open and hit the icon in the top right. Then you can choose which games to download (pokemon) and have fun!

Also after everything is downloaded switch the back, or you won't be able to send messages/make calls.

i'm guessing that you mean set the time back to normal. Also that's pretty cool and I'm totally going to do that.

When I download a game and click it it's just a black screen in the GBA... Does it just take a while to load or am I missing something?

yes

and to people asking about the zip file, just follow the instructions and hit the little phone icon in the top of the screen....

Yeahhh can someone debrief me on unzipping the roms on a nonjailbroken Iphone, I can't seem to make it happen

i downloaded the version for non jailbroken and i just have to set the date to 2012 while playing or else it doesnt work on my 4s

This is my issue as well. Just says safari cannot download this type of file when I hit 'download' on the rom

oh figured out why mine wasn't working. I was trying to use gearboy and the old school blue version. for some reason it wouldn't download. If you use the gba one, go to coolroms.com and you can download the game there, it'll work and open it in the application itself.

that one doesn't work anymore genius, also look at the OP chief.

not really sure about people having trouble with the zip thing...I'm not a super techy so I would have to see it to try and solve the problem.

When you found a rom, scroll down to download rom, once clicked you should see a little icon that has the filename.zip

In the top right corner of you browser it should say open in GPA4iOS, tap that and it should bring you to the app and the rom downloaded
