well i remember them, but i never really understood the "game". can someone TRY to explain?
you threw the 'slammer (HEAVY POG USUALY METLA) at teh pile of other opgs (stacked verticall facedown), whatever ones ended up face up after that 'slam' you got, adn then it was the other person's turn.. whoever ended up with the most one, OR you could paly for keeps, and you got whatever pogs you won.

Dudes i had over 1000 pog, i loved that shit and i had a super coolslammer with a dinosaur hologram but i took them to school one day and someone stole al my slammers, such a good fucking game. Now the stupid popular games in middle school are fuckign pokeman and shit. Bring back the pogs, shit i bet there is money to be made with a comeback, We also played marbles in middle school.

for my birhtday a long time ago my friend bought my 500 pogs and 20 slammers. it was crazy. i think i might still have them in my crawlspace but i might have thrown them out. those were really fun. they got banned at my elementary school cause kids were gambling with them.

pokemon cards and "virtual pets" were banned from my school. but everyone was so hardcore we'd bring them anyways and play where the teachers couldn't see us. pogs were the shit. i had gargoyle pogs cause that show was dope!

yeah we used to play for keeps, it was ruff times on the playground. I was pretty good so i had a posse that went out and punched kids in the face if they owed me.Some kids woud put it all on the line, sometimes it worked out, but when i didnt they fel hard, rock bottom for most, lead do drug abuse and debauchery.

hahah i loved pogs i totally forgot about slammers and stuff did u ever get the ones where u threw the slammer the whole pile just flipped over and didnt fall anywhere just a perfect flip and u were playing for keepseys and u got them all it amde my day wen ever that ahpened
