Poeder Ski recommendations

Hey everyone!
I am in the market for a powder specific ski. I'm 5ft 10in and 165-170 lbs. I am a competent skier and I enjoy skiing all over the mountain. I especially like skiing in the woods. Since I live out east if I want to ski fresh snow on a regular bases the trees is where its at. Anyway i want a ski the can float in the pow and crud is nimble in the trees and playful. Also it needs to be versatile enough to handle on the groomers getting back to the lift after a pow/tree run. So some side cut or camber under foot would be good. I do like to ski switch and I do go into the park here and there, so the ski should be able to handle that as well. So basically this ski is going to be my pow/variable snow ski. I do ski at a lot of the big mountains in northern VT and NH so I really want something that will excel in the kinds of conditions you find up there. A few skis i was looking at were the Atomic Bentchetler, Movement Flyswatter, K2 Obsethed, Liberty Genome, Armada JJ.
Let me know what you think. Your advice is appreciated!

186 on3p jeffery would fit your needs well. Plus its on presale right now for cheap! Get it before june 15th to get the discount.

Anyways, the reason i said the jeffery is it will handle itself fine in the park, and outside on the mountain. It has camber underfoot, with some tip and tail rocker. I wouldnt want to get anything super wide if i was on the east coast, i would want something more versatile like you were saying before.

peep it, along with the rest of their line

I've owned both, and I think the OL would be a much better EC ski, although both are amazing. The stiffness, huge rocker, and smaller profile would be perfect for EC trees

Do you know how much rocker the one life has?? Also whats with the strange bent up rocker on surfaces skis? I have been wondering about that for a while lol

More than any other ski I've ever seen/ridden. They look weird, but they make the skis super poppy and able to blast through shit like no other. I'm a huge fan fo sho

Im really interested in the Bentchetler. All I hear is good things about it. I actually had a chance to buy a pair at a local shop last year but I couldn't pull the trigger on it. What are your thoughts on this ski???

yes but I already have skis that are about the same size as the Kungfujas and Rossi s3...I don't think they would float much more then the skis I already have....

How would you say the JJ compares to the Bentchetler??? Does it float as well? Both have similar shapes. However, I have heard the JJ can be somewhat hooky in the pow.

i beleave the jj is slightly stiffer then the bents, but i can say that i have skiied them in killy in some pow which is in the trees like what you are going to be doing and hooking wasnt a problem for me. I have heard that in super deep pow they can be a bit hooky but you shouldnt have a problem. and seeing has you are on the east these will bash through the crud without a problem.

I hand flexed both in a shop last year. To me both skis seemed about the same flex(I think bentchetlers were slightly stiffer like you said) and then again hand flexing doesn't really count. The past few months I have been doing a lot of reading on both skis. A lot of people here in the east use them. Im pretty sure I am going to go with one of the two...

both are really amazing skis. I personally am an armada fan and they were one of the first to perfect the rocker-camber-rocker ski. the JJ has been the same almost from inception as well as being on of the best selling pow skis on the market which shows they are doing something right.
