Your Moms House, Legion of Skanks, History Hyenas, Pardon My Take, Spittin Chiclets, Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank, and some others haha

Making Sense with Sam Harris. Interesting topics, mind-numbingly centrist on most political issues. Imagine Joe Rogan but the podcast host is a neuroscientist. Helps me get through some of my more grueling 8-hour drives.

maybe an unpopular opinion here but not a big fan of JRE think its a little too overhyped

I occasionally watch simply because he is so big it seems like just about anyone will go on there, and I'd much rather hear someone discuss their thoughts in long-form than a debate or rally. Bernie Sanders is one example that comes to mind. He is someone that is often talked about, but it isn't often that you just get to hear what he has to say for an hour.

Yea he's just Oprah for Men IMO. If he ever has a good guest on I'll listen but he usually doesn't.

Bill Burr does a podcast two days a week he talks sports and shit it's hilarious. The ad reads alone are funny since he bumbles through it and trashes his own sponsors.

Then he reads peoples questions. Pretty funny shit. The last uncensored comic who doesn't give a fuck

JRE is always great if there's an interesting guest on, or someone I'm more familiar with. For intellectual shit, The Portal with Eric Weinstein is always great and he's a super smart guy who has great conversations with a lot of interesting people. For a comedy/shooting shit podcast The Snark Tank is great

Nice thats one of fav's. Love Graham's books.

Russel brand has a good one, JRE is dope AF when he has on legit guests, The one with graham Hancock and Randall Carlson is dope.

Simon Dumont Ascension podcast is pretty legit. He hosts a lot of pro skiers and has interesting conversations. The downside is Simon hosts it and he talks wayy too much, even interrupting guests a lot. But a great listen nonetheless.

This. Also Matt ns Shane's secret podcast, 2 bears 1 cave, fighter and the kid, bill bert podcast. All hilarious.

Great skiing ones are dumont's ascension, low pressure, powell movement, and the maynard podcast is turning into something.

Here's a few of my favorites by alphabetical order:

Call Her Daddy- lol

Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend - I love Conan, his guests are so fun, it's great overall.

My Favorite Murder - Murder comedy podcast, I enjoy their mental health talk too

Savage Love - It's a sex and relationship advice podcast. I skip the commentary at the start because it annoys me but for some reason I am obsessed with these issues I'll never face.

Tenfold More Wicked - wow wow wow in depth murder podcast, this season was on one man form the 1800s. (or 1700s?)

Terrible, Thanks For Asking - Sometimes shit sucks and it isn't fair and that's what this podcast is about.

The MeatEarter Podcast - Hunting, conservation, outdoors topics. Steven Rinella is so smart and is enjoyable to listen to.

the Sharp End - mountaineering accident podcast. Lessons to apply in the outdoors.

The What If? Podcast - Comedy, these guys ask bizarre questions then eventually get to an answer

Throughline - NPR history podcast

Up First - NPR morning news

Oh man. And how good is the winternolympics. Dee is so cool.

Yeah the level 1 ones are fire.

Jre grew on me. He's mellowed out a bit and he gets some great guests. Puts out enough that i don't have to listen to the shitty ones.

I haven't been able to podcast much because I'm on the normal grooming channel at work and it's super chatty. I hate having to click back and see what i missed or pause it because somebody csnt figure out how their machine works.

Not really a podcast but they put the moth on there. I had picked it uo several times in rando radio roadtripping USA. Some cool stories. Dont listen to it often but sometimes once or twice a year I'll rock a couple. Basically people wrote these essays sort of and then read them allowed. Some are kind of boring some of them are friggin awesome.

Do you listen to Guys We Fucked by chance? Just asking because Corinne mentions Dan Savage's podcast all the time on GWF. If so I would highly recommend it! The podcast is nothing short of amazing (the 2014-2018 episodes). GWF you could say was the precurser to Call Her Daddy and the long list of other podcasts with women hosts that talk about sex. GWF was a great show it was funny, serious, thought provoking, sincere, and has many amazing guest. You could say it was the OG. However if you listen to GWF you prob know this, but anyways CHD is no longer listenable, they cater to tiktok kids that don't care about anything, have no attention span, and dont give a fuck about real issues. CHD caters to the lowest of the low, and the show no longer has a drop of originality in it, it is all surface level bullshit, and has no substance.

I'm a big fan of the Level 1 Podcasts and occasionally the Powell Movement does it for me, but best action sports podcast right now has to go to The Bomb Hole. Snowboarding podcast mixes legends and some present young guns. Banter is amazing, and insights into the industry are always interesting. I highly highly suggest giving it a go even if you don't snowboard or don't fuck with snowboarding at all

I listen to Stuff You Should Know every day. I highly recommend it. I’ve also listened to quite a few episodes of Behind the Bastards which discusses all the worst people in history up to today.

I agree with you that CHD went downhill. It started off well and then went stale fast. I dropped off after 20-30 episodes. I listened to a recent one and I'm perplexed as to how it's still so popular. They cater to the barstool crowd for sure.

I'll have to listen to GWF! Sounds like that's what CHD was trying to be before they pivoted to whatever it is now.

id highly recommend these episodes:

https://www.stitcher.com/show/guys-we-fd/episode/the-woman-should-submit-to-her-husband-45623165

Stories I Tell on Dates - Short series by Paul Shirley. Can't recommend it enough. Phenomenal autobiography

Your Kickstarter Sucks - Exactly what it sounds like. The hosts are funny and talk about all the stupid shit on Kickstarter

Doughboys - Two comedians reviewing chain restaurants. Been listening to them for years

Blister + GEAR:30 - Good ski/outdoor industry interviews and gear talk

Why Won't You Date Me? - Nicole Byer's funniest format is podcasting. The show covers sex and relationships, yet also has room for very serious topics. Some episodes and guests can be hit-or-miss.

Reply All is sorta investigative journalism for the internet age where you learn about weird subcultures of the modern world. This is one of the best episodes of ANY podcast I've heard: https://gimletmedia.com/shows/reply-all/v4he6k

Surprised no ones mentioned Dirtbag Diaries. It features different types of outdoor stories and https://dirtbagdiaries.com/endangered-spaces-the-elwha-river-recovery/ is a good one to start.

An Oral History of the Office was a good miniseries on the making of the show, and explores why it's still so popular.

Anyone else despise over produced shows? I just listened to a cosby podcast and it made me cringe everytime there was bullshit music and segways into the next thought.
