thats all the info on the www.jfbb.com website.. pretty fat purse but im sure you will meet some competition there..

no....they dont have much info at all about it...the site they say to check out to get info on it doesn't have any... i guess we gotta wait till it gets closer. but its definitely gonna be an awesome event...

sick man, keep me posted...i'm coming up this friday for the zgames...khaki pants, green/grey jacket on woodkit skis haha

so far, for the rail jam.. its gonna be held at the kids center at frost and i know its gonna be a staircase, not sure exactly what tho.. ill find out tomorrow

just a staircase? lord... some big 630 disaster will probably win it. whoop tee doooo.. I hope it is something more. Props to JF for putting it on though, that's cool...

if its a staircase, and thats what its gonna take, i guess you can count me out. i'm not about to toss a 630 on.

Hucking a near 7 and hoping you actually pull up short enough to tap the bottom of the rail? But hey what do I know?

IS that hard or is it just ballsy?

it is not at all about "hucking a near 7 and hoping..." it takes so much skill and balance to do a trick like that. it's not just a 7 with a tap. now i can't say i've done 630's onto a rail, but i have done 450's and there's no way that i just do a 5 and hope to tap the rail. you have to stop your spin at a point to make sure you can slide it, and i don't just "tap" the bottom, i actually slide it after spinning. and if it takes a 630 on to win, then so be it, that's such a sick trick

thank you for realizing how much skill it takes to spin more than a 270 onto a fucking rail kt, you actually have to know what you are doing and land balance or you will be eating rail for the next hour

No doubt, it takes precision to stop the rotation at the point of contact. I just think that it takes alot more courage than skill to actually do it. Wish we could be there. oh well.

and i hate you for quoting him and making me look at that picture again. i hope all that man's ass hair burns off for having that picture taken.

im bringing the cheeeeezza rail up. they asked me to bring mine out for the comp and they will give me $100 if i do. so i'm going up the night before with somebody's truck and the rail in the back...

i heard something it was something involving a massive staircase... im not competing...i cant...but i'm DEFINITELY watching... i cant wait to see whats gonna be thrown down...tnink any pro skiers will be there?

i know of a few pro am skiers that might be throwin down, and my one buddys friend might fly in for this one

and i need to start to save cash for the damn thing, im 300 bucks in debt on my new skis lol.. im on my 3rd pair this year

how are you on your third pair? get them warrentied, then you just pay shipping instead of for a brand new pair. oh wait, you have dynastars, and their warrenty dept. sucks.

why cant you compete?! give it a try im sure it would be good fun and competing is always a learning experience!!

Dynastars warranty department was awesome for me. I made it clear that I really needed the skis back ASAP, so I two day aired em up there, they got there Friday, and the skis are back in my hands by Tuesday. That sounds like pretty good service to me...

other people have gotten screwed over when dynastar claimed the skis broke from "rail damage." skis dont snap in half from rail damage. oh well, could have been a fluke, but their skis are sick.

i had 05 armada ar5's, i snapped the back binding in half and delam on the front of the ski, so im waiting on new s912 ti salomon bindings and 06 ar5s all from the factory, and i snapped my s914 bindings on my k2 public enemies so im waiting to get them back from the factory and not to mention edge repair on the skis down at the local ski shop, but now im on a pair of 182 crichton pros with look p12ti which are by far the best ski out of all of them. atleast i think. if these break im taking them to the dynastar rep at jackfrost and ill go from there.. not to mention i still owe the kid i bought these off of mad cash hah.. all in all, i beat the shit outta my skis regardless of what they are or how new they are..

yes i know...but i kindof suck...i dont think i could do it....

oh and jared---will you be coaching this weekend? mats got midterms on monday or something so he cant make it.

and about skis...last year i had line mavericks and they delaminated on the tail and whenever i skied fakie i would have to clear all the snow out again and try to bend it back... the snow would spray up super high, too...ah those were the days...

UPDATE!!!!!!!!

The Oakley Pocono Rail Jam has been moved to Big Boulder (Jack Frost's sister resort) due to lack of snow. With no snowmaking temperatures in the forecast, We are moving the Oakley Pocono Rail Jam to Big Boulder where there is ample amounts of snow to build a world class Feature for our contest. Registration times and event schedule remain the same.

We were at BB on Sunday 1/28 and surprised by the amount of base there. The new owners and new guns definitly pumped it out. Under the radar.... check em out!

this is when i say

i knew they were gonna do it, frost blows. no snow that is..

nooo!!!!!!!

i was really looking forward to it..since we would already be at frost anyway...argggg

cant frost hold a comp...EVER?! not that i have ANYTHING against boulder...but honestly! and i understand they had to move this comps b/c theres no snow, but why didnt the owners put new guns at frost , too? they could've like, divided them up between the two mountains or something...but nooooo...just boulder...ugh. this blows.

but..i did hear that winter's coming back next week... so hopefully frost can blow snow then.....man do we need it...
