i was at Ken Jones today and i was checkin out the new skis.. i picked up the mo ship flites and they were SICK and they had tons of flex and were lightweight.. but i can get the pocket rocks for super cheaper than they usually are and they're a huge wideass ski but i think line mo ship flites would be better east coast wise.. any suggestions cause i need to get the pocket rockets now or the deal will go bye bye, thanks

mo ships have wood in them, and they don't have space frame retardology. Seems like a pretty easy choice if you ask me.

Jeff: Hey Geoff, did Ronny tell you not to wear any boxers so he could rape you better?

Geoff: No, I just put my boxers on backwards so the hole is in the back...it's alot easier that way.

'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

'I'm not asking for any help, just maybe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)

mo ships are solid. they have wood, and titanium, and a sick flex, and they're lighter. nuff said.

Are the Motherships a good ski? Good for big mountain? I don't know much about the Line products... care to give me a quick rundown on the Motherships?

in response to epiphany's question, yes, the motherships will make a good big mountain ski. they're wide, they have a more traditional mounting point (about 3 in back from centermount) than most line skis. as for flex, they're super duper soft in the very tip and tail (the first 8 inches or so and last 6 inches of the ski), as in like soft as rubber, but stiff as a boner throughout the rest of the ski. this helps get the tips up over the snow going forward or switch, and then the stiffness of the rest of the flex maintains a powerful turn (or solid straightlining platform, or crud buster). they feel solid, durable (wood core), and light, and they're versatile too. i liked them better in the park than my teneighties for everything except rails, where the centermount on my tens just helped me feel more balanced. all in all, though, sick skis. they'll do everything. and the rest of the lines are good too, soft, but not as floppy as everyone who hasn't skied them says they are.

my motherships delaminated at the tail a couple inches, but i just epoxied them and set them in a vise for a day and have had no further problems. also, my moships are the '02-'03 model. i know they haven't made any changes in the flex or core of the ski between '03 and today's '05 model, but they have done things to increase topsheet durability. so, that may not be of any issue anymore. and the bases and edges are plenty durable, so no worries there.
