Pocket Rockets & Mo-Ships

Does anyone out there own either a pair of Line motherships or Pocket Rockets?? THinking about getting either pair but not to sure how the ride on groomers, park, pipe etc...

We all know these skis rip in powder but how does the wider waist handle on groomers, pipe and park???

 
Also with the new Mo-ships can you mount normal bindings on them?? Do the 4 pre-drilled holes get in the way and prevent mounting or do they weaken the ski???

Also how do fat skis handle in bumps?

 
I have both and the mothership is the definite way to go. They are a little stiffer than the pocket and they come in a better size 182. They are better on groomers than the pockets and they rip up everything else.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!
 
i havent tried the motherships, but i have the prockets and they are sweet. those who say they are too soft just havent skied them. the new spaceframe gives em plenty of stiffness for the bc riding. they even tear up groomers just fine. i even took them thru the moguls and they didnt skip a beat. they are nice an stable on landings and they are great in the park. they can do everything every other twin can do. the pipe took a little getting used to, but after a few runs they were fine and i could still pump huge with these fatties.

The pocket are way too played out. way too many people have them.

so many people have them because they are a good ski. My friend has the pr's and he uses them on everything. Rails,ice,jumps,powder. Well no powder. We don't get that in michigan.

yeah i agree when you say that everyone has them, but man they are orgasmic. i've also got some concepts and beta rides and my prockets are definately the most fun to ride.

ive never skied on the mo ships but i can tell you that the pocket rockets are a sweet ski. I got a pair this year and they kickass in the park and can carve like a champ. I love them alot and think you may too.

I rode the pocket rockets last year and they kill everything. seriously, they are not that soft. and yes, everyone has them becuase they're a good ski..as well, they're the fat ski that most people will demo and rent this year, so if you see someone on pocket rockets that doesnt look like they should own that ski, they could just be renting it...not alot of motherships for rent out there! i have the seth pistols now, and they're off the hook...i'd either get the pocket rockets or seth pistols...both are sick skis.

 
this is my second season on pocket rockets, and i have nothing but good things to say about em. theyre a great ski, although iu have recently come to the conclusion that both the rockets and the mother ships are for girls. i want some seth pistols.now thats a mans ski.... but the rockets are cool... seriously...
