Pocket Rockets - Everything about them

Ok, i'm lookin into getting some Pocket Rockets. If you've ridden them, please tell me anything about them. I know they rock in the pow, but how are they on normal groomed surface? How about moguls? Are the tails big enough to land switch in pow? How are they on rails? Are the edges durable? How heavy are these? any info would be GREAT!

I've rode them a few times. They do alright on hardpack once you get them on edge, but you can definitly fell their width from edge to edge. Same with moguls, they take a little to get used to becuase of their width. The wieght is pretty damn good on these too, I've skied a few other fat skis too and in my opinion these feel the lightest on the snow. The edges aren't any better or worse then any other ski. I can't really speak of landing switch in powder or rails, but otherwise they are ALOT of fun!

 
the rockets are SICK! i had a pair last year, but they were so cool that someone stole them from me...but yes, if you're looking for a fuckign awesome powder ski with good all mountain skiability..get the pocket rockets. i have the Seth Pistols, another great ski as well.

 
TOO soft for hard cores... but most people like em'... Yeah, and too many grampas on em'

haha, too many grandpas. Well, these are the skis i'm lookin into now: Salomon Pocket rocket, Rossignol Scratch BC, K2 Public Enemy. Not sure if I want fat twins or just some park twins. So are the Pocket Rockets and/or Scratch BCs pretty good in the park too??? I wanna know because I ski both powder and park and backcountry kickers...

pr's work well in the park too because they're so light, good swingweight. i was surprised with them on groomed surfaces. if u want an all around ski, then get the public enemy, 1080 or v pro because they are all wide enough to do somewhat deep snow. I hear the v pros are sick everywhere, but they are the heaviest of the group.

From the start to the gun I never claimed to be right.
 
best skis in the world but the edges wont hold up to alot of rails because they are a capped ski instead of a vertical sidewall
