Pocket Park 2012 at Great Divide!!

Yep boys and girls, it is that time of year again. Pocket Park at Great Divide will be Oct 27th and 28th, and you all should probably be in attendance.

$5 admission/rope tow ticket each day

Saturday 27th- 5pm-9pm

Sunday 28th- noon-4pm

Free admission with a GD or any MT ski area season pass (must have pass with you)

Sound system in park provided by FOUR-O-SIX

Saturday Night in the GD Lodge:

Music by Whiskey Root 8-11pm

Costume Contest at Pocket Park Party prizes by FOUR-O-SIX and GD

Lodge, Cafeteria and Saloon will be open during Pocket Park and Pocket Park Party

So much fun! Such a good turnout this year. Billy on park crew was also telling me in two weeks they'll have a lift open with over 20 rails and hopefully a jump or two.

idk if wildwood is happening this year. Great Divide is supposed to have an event called Trail of Rails on the 17th and 18th.

last I heard, no wildwood. too much money and effort put into blowing snow up there and the setup is a little sketchy (nate falconer anyone?) so they aren't doing it according to Billy on park crew.

Hit his forehead to a rock and started having a crazy seizure. Everyone went silent as the ski patrol loaded him up in a truck and got him to the hospital. It was really gnarly.
I enjoy Pocket Park a lot more than Wildwood, personally.

I will never forget happily enjoying a pbr and watching that unfold 5 feet in front of me..so much blood. It definitely put a damper on the mood, but I was very happy he was alright after all that.
