POC Receptor Sizing Help

Im getting a receptor bug im just stuck between sizes, I wear a 7 1/2 size hat, should i get L or XL? I have heard they fit pretty tight. Thanks
 
I got the same hat size. I got it in XL. I took out all the pads inside, and just rock a beanie under it. It fits pretty good, maybe a little roomy, but nothing too bad.
 
Not before i got mine. I Just measured my head and ordered one, and got lucky. 90% Sure my buddy has a large though, might be a medium, but I am pretty sure it's large. I found that to be a little small.

If you have somewhere you can try them on i would definately reccomend that though.
 
Go XL especially if you plan on wearing a beanie and goggles underneath. Which I believe you will want to do, because my goggles (I/O) don't get along with my Receptor on the outside at all, but on the inside its nice. Also this helmet is very thick, so it will protrude over the goggles, which doesn't look great. But the helmet is so safe and protective it doesn't really matter.
