POC Receptor Flow?

I recently ordered a POC receptor bug for around $65. But turns out they cant ship POC products to Canada. This put me in quite an awkward position because I really want a POC Helmet, But any other shop sells them for almost $200. So that made me look around more and i found the POC receptor Flow, It is pretty much the bug but without ear pads and other winter features. But now i am questioning the helmet since it is a biking helmet and seems to have a completely different shell? Anyways, I am wondering if i could just buy the Receptor Flow for much cheaper and use it as a ski helmet?
 
well, skate helmet is better than no helmet, but the skiing one will definately be safer. why do you want poc so much, i was hyped to get one , but they fit kinda funny. there are a lot of awesome helmets besides poc
 
Well, everysingle helmet i tried on has had an odd fit on my head, But the POC bug design fits perfectly
 
A difference between ski and bike helmets are how the padding is. Ive found you can't really comfortably wear a hat under a bike helmet. It could just be me however. I would recommend trying to find one and try it on with a hat, see how you like it. Also TnL usually has a boxing day sale so you might be able to pick one up cheaper or as an Xmas gift?
