POC Receptor BUG vs. Smith Maze

after cracking my Giro G10 today I decided its time for a new helmet. i know that POC is supposed to offer a multi impact helmet but What i am asking does it really take those extra impacts for that extra price.or should i go with the smith maze a considerably cheaper option? lets here it NS is POC worth the extra money?

i have both, like both but prefer the poc. just fits me better i guess. your head may vary

Ive had both and like the Maze better than the POC. I did like the POC, but the Maze you dont even feel on your head. Plus my POC cracked on the first big impact. Ive also heard the argument that even though the POC is multi-impact, who knows how many impacts it can safely sustain. I would go on geartrade if I were you, last I saw, they had the POCs and Mazes for a good price.

I have used the maze for two seasons now and love it. Really low profile, light weight and has kept my head intact on multiple occasions.
