POC RECEPTOR BUG SIZING

I have heard little things here and there about how the receptor bug fits a bit differently than the rest of poc helmets. has anyone had experience with this or am i completely wrong? when it says a large is 57-58 is that true to size or do i need to size up or down? thanks!
 
note: coming from a racing background, i have worn the orbic x in a size L in the past and it worked well. im thinking that these are the same size but any help would be much appreciated.
 
I have the bug in small (55-58) and it fits fine/true to size.However if your worried about sizing why not look into the receptor bug adjustable?

does the liner come out on the adjustable one? i was mainly looking for a non adjustable due to that

It’s not really a liner,more different bits of cushioning attached to the frame with velcro.

If you’re going to be riding with a beanie,goodluck it surviving for a week,rips them to shreds :(

well i guess i might have to leave the pads in then. thanks for the help!!

I ride with an adjustable POC receptor bug and a beanie. If you tear out the pads you can rip out the adjuster if needed. just remove the velcro pieces and you'll be good to go.
