alright man if youre really tryna keep this going, you obviously cant grasp the basic idea of what a business is if you actually think sneaking on the chair is destructive to anyone, but the poacher. The lifts are going to spin either way is completly true, yeah its kind of a dick move if youre doing it to some mom n pop ski hill with fair prices, but those dont exist anymore. Resorts just try and make an example out of poachers who get caught because it means less money for them. I am honestly so confused on why you would try and defend an expensive ass resort, idk how you feel about the people that own that ice box youve posted ski clips of, but they arent really the kind of people we're talking about. poaching isn't really destructive or bad for the resort, its actually pretty fun. maybe give it a try sometime!

Find a mountain that only checks tickets at the base and wake up super early before the lifts are running and hike up. Bag a nice sunrise at the top or if you're really worried stash out in the trees for a spell. Then ride the upper mountain all day and don't go to the base. Or just take an avy class and tour...
 
My current policy is to Buy season passes and poach soft closures. Duck all the ropes you want as long as you’re not putting anyone else in danger. For example I straightlined the bamboo couloir today at jhmr. You can see the patrollers above me on the thunder lift in my instavid. Did not get hot passd no problemo

You are making the line longer for the people who actually bought a pass. Nobody owes you a lift. If you wanna poach fucking hike. Theft of services is theft of services no matter how much money they make.

Lol who cares about stealing from a greedy corporation .. burn down the system skiing was built on poaching. I poached an entire season in Whistler a few years back.. clipped/sold passes, snuck on and paid the ticket inspectors in green nuggets of love.. 140$ for a lift ticket is highway robbery ..

Not every resort in the world is owned by a greedy corporation like vail. Not every resort has $140 lift ticket...yeah im sure skiing was built on stealing and “sticking it to the man”
