Plexiglass

i want to make a box and i have a 6x2 foot piece of plexiglass at my house that i want to cut in half and make a 1x12 ft box. but before i do that, does plexiglass even slide well?

get pvc pipe or hdpe

i think it will slide, but it is far from the best option. pvc or hpde are the best option.

i recommend pvc because it is really cheep

alright i have 1 inch pvc too but i dont have a lot of it so it wont be that long of a box

put 1x1 wooden boards in the pipes too. it will make the box muh stiffer.

alright so i ended up using a 1x10 sheet of acrylic something. idk what other part was it just said acrylic. but the stuff was white and like 1/8" thick. will this stuff slide?

that should probably do. but acrylic is terrible in really cold temperatures. if it's -30+ then it might break pretty easily.

but it definitely depends on the type of acrylic.

I mean, plexiglass is acrylic..
