Plexi glass box or pvc pipie box

which of the two are better for making a box

I made a box using 6 half inch pvc pipes. Works great and there so small you need to worry about them flexing and shit. basically i screwed 3 to each two by four, you go in underneath and like half way into the pipe works great. Plexi glass is more expensive

do pvc pipes ever crack when they get cold

Well they crack when they flex alot. So thats why i used small pipes and screwed them to a two by four. Mine never cracked. As long as you use the 2 by 4 as the backbone you'll be set

Plexiglas sucks. it doesn't slide that well and it breaks super easy

i wouldn't go with plexiglass. you'll need coping that way. pvc is cheap and durable.
