Canada is a great place because we so many traditional values, we just need to work harder at combining them towards the common good of Canada. US is too much of a melting pot, and racism there is bad. But Bush does support values that have made US strong. I'd say vote Kerry, but it I very inclined towards Bush aswel, SOME (not punk_rider) republicans on this site have done a good job defending their man.

A lot of the film was clips clips of Bush. Such as the 'you are my base' speech and the Secret Service guarding the Saudi Embassy. Bush was the star of the film and hell the camera did most of the talking. If it wasn't true Bush would've had his lawyers all over Moore's ass for Defamation of Character. Bush wouldn't dare risk putting that shit in court where it can be 'officially proven'.

Sim, US politics does affect us, but I disagree completely with what you said. We went to war before US in both WWI and WWII. We lobbied against taking the Korean War into China and stayed out of both Vietnam and Iraq. On our own will we instituted social health care and more recently legalized gay marriage. In the future, we're gonna follow suit with Quebec and institute child care and welfare programs that actually work. While being in indecisive is part of being Canadian, I don't think we sit around to just do whatever US does.

He did not create the electoral college it has been in place for a while. Secondly it was Gores lawyers and democratic pollsters who did more to screw up the election in florida. Post election counts and estimates actually had Bush winning Florida by more than 7000 votes so it wasnt as close as imagined

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.
