Please Vector This Image

So after no sucess in M&A, I think I'll try NSG. So the image below I want blown up to good quality with out pixelating it and have all the black background removed. Reason being is that I'm going to print it on some transfer paper for a tall tee design. Photoshop can't do this unless i go through and fix every single pixel. If anyone has Illustrator CS4 this will take ZERO time.

Can a fellow help me out??

my school put AI cs4 on all our computers but ive never used it. if you tell me what to do, i could help you out.
 
If you know what font that is, it will be easy to replicate. The image is too small to vectorize w/tools like vector magic. Aspen ski and board co comes out funny.
 
I know its a old thread, no hate, but is there anyone who is still doing jpg to vector ??
 
generally anybody who owns illustrator can do these

I can probably help you out if it's high rez and not a small picture, feeling nice today.
