Please tell me everything is ok

Had a partial binding pullout. Got it fixed with inserts, but the ski lasted only a day. Now I'm going to completely remount the bindings in hopes of getting the skis through this season. But could it be that the core is toast, because the insert didn't hold?

Your fine I've got some magnus 90s that have been mounted 4times on one side and 6 times on the other and they still just fine

Like did they strip the ski and pullout?

Yeah, originally two holes were striped, snd the same two also now. The inserts were plastic instead of metal tho, so maybe inserts fault?

what kind of inserts? and is core wet? or has been?

I don’t know, I had a shop do it for me. Core shouldn’t be wet either, but on the other hand the ski is three years old and has seen better days. Maybe I’m just stressing too much lol.

Depending on how the inserts pulled out and what condition the core is in, you might be able to install Quiver Killer/Binding Freedom inserts and avoid having to move your mount point.

Pics would help.

If the inserts have pulled out, it's more than likely your core is compromised. Otherwise, I would epoxy the insert instead of using traditional wood glue.

If it were me, I wouldn't trust it. Too much speed, too many trees and too many turns for me to be second guessing equipment or screws ripping out of my skis. I'd just buy new skis. What does the shop say?
