Thousands have been killed, hundreds of thousands of lives are at risk from the aftermath of the cyclone in Burma this weekend. Countries around the world are offering aid, but the military regime will not allow it into the country. Please take 30 seconds of your time and click this link to send an email to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon urging that the UN Security council must act so aid can be delivered!

Done, and +karma to the thread creator. Burma is experiencing enough problems as is with the current regime and this cyclone is not helping.
 
UN cant do shit. Shitty ass government of Myanmar; next time some of you dumbshits get all hissy about the US government, take a step back and refrain from saying it's the worst in the world (which has appeared so many times on NS).

I'll sign it...buuuut

do you honestly think this will change anything? The government in Myanmar won't give a shit about this, just like how they don't give a shit about UN aid, regulations or anything else and not to mention their people...

They just care about power, and this won't do a thing. Good effort though I guess.
 
Pretty hopeless. When a regime is in the process of commiting genocide and along comes a natural disaster to do the bulk of the work for them don't expect them to roll out the welcome mat for foreign aid services.
