I am currently running a small food drive in my squadron and I figured I might as well try NS too. My mom used to get Thanksgiving dinner from her church every year so I know for a fact that these kinds of things can make a big impact on someone's holiday. Since it's hard for most people to give out actual cans of food for a project like this, I am asking for only $1 donations. That can buy 2-3 cans of food, so don't think it won't help. Even if you have a quarter to spare, please do so. If you already have something going on like this, great! But if not and you want to help someone out this year, please go for it!

I think the easiest way to do this would be to Paypal me at youvegotsmail07@yahoo.com. I assure you the money will go to the right place, we are using it to go straight to the store to buy food.

If all goes well, I will make a follow up post/thread listing how much NS made and who contributed. I will give you + karma, a hug, mail you a gold star, or whatever you want me to do to earn your help.

In closing thanks a lot and please help out for this great cause! Maybe next year we can do an NS sponsored charity and see how much we can get!

On another note: NS has already put forth $50 which is already more than I expected. That is probably about 120-150 cans, or a couple of small turkeys. Awesome guys, I can't express how generous even a dollar is to give.
 
Yo son...Sorry, but I'm very skeptical of these types of things. Can you post a pick of the stuff you buy? I know you're probably a good kid, but NS is full of shadsters. If you're hoeing out poor people for a quick buck, I guess you'll get what's coming to you anyways haha. But 15$ sent. Good luck and make some peoples day :).
 
i have no money. but at least my friends and i stood outside grocery stores two days last week getting donations from people for our local food bank.
