Please read before posting spots....

Just as common courtesy, could people refrain from posting "secret" spots. In every region there are obvious popular spots that EVERYONE knows of. But there are also more secret spots. If you know of them, please DONT POST THEM!! People have spent years upon years w/ maps, etc. tracking these spots and locals have been surfing these secret spots forever as well. It'd be a shame if we started giving up all these secret spots on the internet to people who havent done their homework.

I dont mean to come off sounding like an asshole, but as surfing gains popularity, more beginners show up to more popular spots and create hazards. People like me goto secret spots to escape this hazard so we'd appreciate it if we kept these spots quiet!!

muchos gracias...

life is a wave, enjoy the ride

cmon bra, i agree you shouldnt be running your mouth about secret spots to everyone, but i think you can reveil them to your fellow newschooler brothers

are you serious? a cult of like 30 people who are spread across the world? OH NO! I don't think that if you publish your spot on here, you're gonna notice anyone extra anywhere.

well, NS isnt the only spot I post. I have many surf sites i post at as well...and if you guys are really into surfing, I'm sure you do too. I just dont want someone dropping names of spots on here and then having someone else go onto another surf website and drop the names as well to "seem cool." I've seen it happen many times. Next thing you know, everyone and their grandmother is showing up to that spot...

Goto www.nesurf.com and start dropping names of spots. See what happens...

Trust me...I tell one person, they show up with 3 of their friends, each one of them tell 2-3 of their friends, next thing you know your spot is packed.

Like I said, I'm not being a dick, but please just respect secret spots.

yea man, i'll def. give direction to people that wanna surf, etc. obviously I'd send them to more well-known, common breaks. I doubt a beginner learning to surf will need to know where to go when the buoys hit 24' @ 18 secs with a victory at sea. Thats when my secret spots remain secret!!

But naming very common and well known places on the cape, ME, and popular spots on Rhode Island, etc will be done.

I just dont want people blurting out special places like (*#@$ in NH!! secret spots are secret for a reason

not that i care, cause I am from the westcoast, but it still seems pretty weird to me....seems like 'no love'....but i say again its a moot point to myself...or as joey tribiani would say "it's moo"

man no kidding. it's like telling a bunch of beginner snowboarders about your secret powder reserve. Sketchy little known surf spots just don't belong spread across the internet.

allright i see where ur coming from but seriously. this is a skiing website on a private cult. there will always be secret spots. and u can always find new ones

hmmmm - this is a private forum with in a hybrid variation of an already exclusive snow sport. I beg all the time to find snow lovers to join us on the beach. in two years wanna now how many NS people have joined us? 1....

Cape Henelopen State park south parking lot of Gordons Pond at the jetty high tide.
