Please make a separate bst for jiberish

its getting kind of ridiculous, at any given point at least half of the sales are "FS JIBERISH!!"

Just keep the S/T the way it is. No need for separation, if you don't want Jiberish don't click on the thread.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL SOFT AND HARD GOODS? ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO MAKE TWO SEPARATE THREADS? I DO NOT THINK B/S/T NEEDS TO BE CHANGED

People who have both would just make one thread then everyone would get pissed because there is Jiberish in the hard goods section and we would still be having the same problem.

Just leave it how it is and if you don't want Jiberish, ignore the threads with it.

or just forbid jiberish sales. something like: trying to sell jiberish = perman ban...
 
who cares about sell/trade. gear talk is what needs attention, like said above there should be a section for clothing/streetwear and one for ski gear
 
Then they have two times as many views. What's the big deal it wouldn't bethat hard to follow a thread with skis boots and bindings and then have everything else in another. Sounds like a good idea to me. It would make going through S/t so much easier.
 
Sorry for the dub post. but yeah. It's not that you can't ignore the jiberish threads that's easy but you have to look through like six pages to find a dozen hard goods items. Plus thy cost more so there's more chatter about soft goods so the hardgoods get pushed way down.
 
I should have explained it better. Its not the too lazy to make two threads... but half of the people will still only make one thread and we will be back in the same spot complaining about s/t and wanting it fixed again. It is perfectly fine how it is and there are a lot bigger problems with the site right now.
 
I actually would support a hardgoods vs softgoods division of Sell Trade. Or at least tags so you can filter what you want to see.
 
Ginko is right. Make tags so you can filter what you want to see. Hardgoods, softgoods, or both. Then delete threads that people don't categorize correctly (people who mark jiberish hardgoods so it comes up on more searches)
 
I think itd be nice to have sections of the ST fourm. like for example if your looking for a new helmet but you dont want to look through 100 for sale threads to find one there could be like a headwear section of st.

Other sections could include skis,bindings,boots,outerwear,hoodies/crews,softgoods,and other..

and have it open up like the screen that opens when you click fourms. and you just click on the section you want.

Would be 1000 times easier to find what your looking for..yes more threads for the people making ST but there items will be found easier.

or how about this, why not have a tagging system in s/t? You could have set tags that can be searched by, or you can view everything. Seeing as the searchbar is still a worthless piece of shit (seriously admins, get off your lazy asses and fix some of these major problems), it would make searching for specific items so much easier!
 
Because then johnny VERYSICK BLUE JAcket could tag helmetgoggs boots etc. To ensure it comes up anyway. Hard vs soft goods makes most sense. The selecting categories seems ok for browsing items but it would suck following all of those threads if you're selling. Two different threads seems reasonable. I like jiberish as much as anyone but it's bst not jst.
