Please help with skis

I'm a long time snowboarder turned skier. I picked up skiing last season after snowboarding for 11 years. I'm about 5'6-5'7 weight around 160lbs. Last season I used 147 line invaders. I know those are way to small but I just wanted a shorter ski to get back into skiing. This season I was thinking of getting 157 line masterminds. I picked up skiing pretty quick so I'd say I'm between beginner and intermediate probably closer to intermediate. What do you guys think about these skis and would they be a good ski for me?

I do think you would enjoy the masterminds, although I personally would recommend looking at the Chronics. I enjoy the wider base that can also throw down in the park
 
I would suggest going longer if you're looking for a ski to progress on.

Around 165-170... would give you alot more stability than a 157 and still pretty short.
 
I'm 5'7 150 lbs and i ride 166, 168 and a 171. It does depend on how good you are though. for beginners they say go short so 160ish is where i would start.
