If anyone here si good at chem. could you please help me with the following:

is the formula for nitrate NO3 or NO4?

and is the mole ratio of a chemical reaction dependent upon the mass of the reactants used? why or why not?

please help a fellow NSer out...

the mole ratio isnt dependent, you write out the chemical equation like....H+ + OH- -> H20 or whatever, so the mole ratio of H+ to H20 would be 1:1 it depends on the coefficients before the reactants. Im pretty sure thats what it is at least lol.
