Fuck, I wish I was going to Manning this weekend, Whitewater freaking sucks. Seriously, you kids should all jump on this and go up.

Plus Laura McIsaac is hawt shiiiiet.
 
nice day today, snowed all day, and the park actually had people in it for a bit this afternoon. light was a bit flat, but still ok. i can't believe it's over for manning this weekend, they still have lots of snow and they're getting more this weekend. i guess it's just cause there's nobody there, so they'd just lose a bunch of money if they were open. it's sad :(

only like 2 days left for me this season (both at whistler), while manning could easily have another couple of weeks open.
 
They buy their insurance at the beginning of the ski season, and set their closing date at that time as well. Considering they had no snow in like, February of last year, I wouldn't say it was really a stupid move for them to assume they wouldn't have enough snow to stay open past April 2nd, although they very very clearly do.

wwhat the fuuck? you WANT people in your park? a deserted well kept park is possibly the best thing imaginable. careful what you wish for.
 
if it's deserted then they will put less and less effort and money into it as time passes.

fucking hell, i bet it's still snowing up there, they probably have more snow now then they did on closing day.
 
i went to manning earlier in the year and it was SICK everything was set up perfectly (exept for the last booter) every rail was perfect and all the jumps (exept for the last booter) were smooth as hell! I toatally support goin' there.
 
they fixed the last booter before LOTP, the park was sick and perfect from feb 25th on, and it was close to perfect before then.
 
i want to eventually check out both manning's super rad park, and whitewater. cause that would be a super fun time i think... but its impossible i tell you ! impossibleeee !!! ahhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!! k i need some sleep, and i want to go skiing, but sleep first... then wait like 200 days or so... then go skiing
